Week 3 Reflection Term 3 Numeracy



Hello Every one, this week we have been focusing on our fraction work it has been very busy and fun.
I have so new fraction activities completed and more there will be more added in later
Here is some of my work that I have been busy working on this week:

Maths - This week we have been busy learning more and adding more to our DTO, I have been carrying on with my DTO and I have added a Visualizing Equivalent Fractions page and I am adding in a Simplified form page and more . . .

Olympic Study Reflection

Hello Every one, this week we have been focusing on our Olympic Studies it has been very busy and fun.
I have some new Athletes activities completed and more there will be more added in later

Here is some of my work that I have been busy working on this week:

Olympic Studies - We have been carrying on with our Olympic studies and here is some new athletes studies that I have been working on for the past week, I have Nadia Commaneci, Anna Grimaldi and a compare and contrast drawing that we had to fill in about the ancient and modern Olympics.
Here is my work:



When creating each individual drawing I found hard getting all the information from the correct sources and getting the correct information. I learned about athletes that I had never heard of before. I had fun creating finding and completing this work!
We have had our own school Olympics and I will post on my blog some pictures from the event. We all have a country and mine is Kiribati and we have to complete athletic based activities.

Genre: Historical Fiction

Characters: Mary, Laura, Ellie, Papa, Mama

Summary:
This story tells about a young girl's life back in the day she lives in north Wisconsin and her name is Laura she has a older sister Mary and a younger sister called Ellie her dad is big and strong and her mother is knowledgeable and great at cooking this book tells about a young girl's life as it goes on and on . . .


Rating: I would give this a 3 1/2 star rating just because it is interesting in some parts, but the book just wasn't for me.

Reader: I recommend this book for people 7 and over that can read.

Georges marvellous medicine

Genre: Humor / Adventure

Characters: George, Grandma, Mr. Kranky, Mrs. Kranky.


George Kranky is taking car of his Grandmother, At eleven o'clock Georges Grandma has to take some medicine, but George doesn't think that the medicine helps her. So he makes his own medicine. . .  He puts in everything he can find, not knowing what could happen to the old lady!



I would give this book a rating of 4 1/2 stars.

I recommend this book for anyone that can read.
