I recommend this book for people that like a book about fantasy adventure and mystery all rolled up into one.

St John Lessons T3 2016

Big Day Out 2016

This year for big day out we did three things we went to the Movies and we went to the Recreation center and to the Aquatic center. The Big Day Out is a day that we go out and we all go to the movies to watch something and this year we went to watch Pete's dragon and we went to the recreation center and we played badminton, Basketball, Soccer, Cricket and we went to the swimming pool and we went on the Hydro-slide and in the big and small pools:

So the movie begins with a small boy no older than 5 and he is discovered by a large green dragon... I thought that the movie was funny and a good choice, most of my friends cried though. 

Recreation Center: -> Sports
This year we got to go into the new recreation center and play some sports in groups. We played Badminton it was hard but really fun, Basketball we played basketball it was kinda hard for me because I haven't played it before, Soccer I enjoyed playing soccer because it was outside and we had a good time, Cricket we played cricket and we lost but 1 run it was really fun though.

Aquatic Center: -> Swimming
I found swimming my favorite activity and we got to go onto the Hydro-slides and into the small and large pool,I mostly went on the Hydro-slide. I had a lot of fun, cooling down from all the sports and activities before, it felt really good.

Writing Reflection T3 W8

This week in writing we have began to learn about the ancient ways of mummification we had to read this and turn it into our awn words to create the introduction for our story I worked on my introduction and next week we are going to work on the rest like the explanation part and then the conclusion here is my work:

Numeracy Reflection T3 W8

For Numeracy this week we have been learning about Area and Perimeter and we have been working through a snake of activities tin the item below it talks about the area of the 4 shapes there is explanations for how we worked out the question, I found it interesting learning ways of figuring out the areas of the shapes.

Explorer Reflection T3W8

For explorers this week we had to explore on google maps a certain place I chose the Eiffel tower and I had to create a google drawing showing at least 10 facts about the Eiffel tower here is my work for this week:

I found it interesting to learn about new things and the Eiffel tower had many facts that I hadn't known about like the fact that they put around 50 tonnes of pain on the tower every 7 years to keep it from rusting through the seasons. I found it difficult sourcing interesting information but that is what made it challenging for me and it gives me future reference for websites to use!

For literacy this week we had to create a word cloud and complete and explanation burger we did the word cloud on a story that we know and we had to explain a story the we had recently read.
