Is Fresh always best? - Kiwi kids news



In this article different fruits and vegetables were compared for whether or not fresh is best. Take spinach for instance when it is stored in 1 week it can loose all of its Vitamin C. Some fruit and veges like pumpkin and mushrooms can increase their levels of carotenoids / fat-soluble vitamins like A, D after they've been kept for a bit.
